As stated earlier I think Gunbuster is a bit too long to serve as a 2nd show so I'll nominate Animation Runner Kuromi

Nominating Le Portrait de Petit Cossette. It's an early work of Akiyuki Shinbou, who's most famous for his directorial style on the Monogatari series. I always read his name as Shinobu at first because of the titular imp from said work.
