Holy shit, thank you for linking me to that, now I have a Soul Eater userbar! Cool tutorial, might be useful for the Gimp users upthread. Your userbars are pretty sweet also.

Whipped up some userbars myself. I started with the C;C heroines, because obviously. I want to make some for all the series' heroines and games (i made one for c;c itself but am not satisfied with it atm so not posting), but just take these for now.

These were made using the art for the C;C steam trading cards, plus some kitbashing on my part. The only exception is Mio, whose is probably my least favorite as I feel like it's hard to tell it's actually her. She doesn't actually have a trading card (or matching art) so I had to pull a similar image from an audio drama instead.

ok finally had some free time and tried to make one myself
converted the template from OP post into .ora format that works with krita and played around a bit
i cant get the font look the way i want, but its alright for a first try i think
i'll play around more in the coming weeks

EDIT:

found out how to turn off AA for text layers and some other stuff, now im happy with the technical side, now i just need to find some nice motives :D



i count that as a success in my progress in learning how to make userbars \o/

made userbars for the chaos;head heroines. i'm not quite as happy with them as the chaos;child ones but it's hard to find good official art that can be themed around imo.

Nice ones, maybe putting the character layer over the light layer would help make it look less "plain".
