I'm selling my Re:Boot slander stocks and fully investing in the hypothetical Chaos;Head Re:Boot slander. I find it really hard to believe Takumi Nishijou would survive intact in a 2026 VN. That's of course, assuming he still exists in the series at all. Re:Boot could have changed a lot of things.

Considering that Okabe's phone wallpaper has the Mass energy equivalence formula on it (reddit ass wallpaper holy shit), we can assume that Einstein still exists, so that SHOULD mean that Gigalomania is still a thing, which would of course mean that Ir2 could still be realbooted.

A real otaku? In 2026? I want to believe they will bring the original Takumi, but most likely, we're getting a decaffeinated version. No more 2D > 3D rants...

S;G ReBoot was never gonna change things up because that would involve effort, and the only hope for a C;H ReBoot is that this laziness means they wouldn't bother to change Taku or anything else besides the art.

Delusions are now replaced with Family Guy style cutaway gags. In the English localization they will do the horrible shit the anime did and call Shogun "the General." Laugh tracks will be baked into voice line files, and so cannot be turned off.

I posted about this on xitter, Nakabachi looks straight out of the boondocks. Idk what it is about his design, probably that he looks similar to his anime self (which looked straight lifted from boondocks tbh).

The Live2D still looks really weird. I hope that I can get used to it but for now it seems like it was a waste of money.

Also, maybe it's just me, but the CG of Kurisu has got some weird contrast going on. She's got like this warm hue over her, but she's up against the really cool backdrop. Doesn't look quite right to me. VA seems fine at least.
